Nati Meir is a multidisciplinary artist whose work combines ink, acrylic, and vintage paper. Working on pages from the Encyclopaedia Hebraica, he creates compositions that bring printed history into dialogue with contemporary experience.
His current body of work began with rescuing discarded volumes of the Encyclopaedia Hebraica. He collects local clay soil, forms it into tiles, and engraves images that he hand-prints in black ink over acrylic on selected pages. Dip-pen and brush drawing, finished with dashed lines reminiscent of stitching, bring together material, memory, and identity.
Alongside his art practice, Nati creates animation, video, and visual design for companies and organizations, supporting their marketing, brand communication, and public information projects.
